Collaborative Play -
Garth Amundson and Pierre Gour

Garth Amundson and Pierre Gour will be joining us from America to talk all about their experience of working as an artistic duo sharing their practice and what it's like to work collaboratively. As well as running a high energy interactive creative activity where we will make images using materials found around the house.

This session covers:

• Introduction – Brief overview of their work, process, and how it
  relates to the workshop.

• Content – Using materials available within the household (magazines, photos, newspapers), this workshop will address ideas of mixed media collage, assemblage, and installation.

• Activity – With absolutely no homework required, participants will be asked to hunt and seek out images that they respond to and collect, collate, and index. Then, we will meet as a group and discuss how and what everyone will create.

• Questions/Comments – The very end of the workshop will be devoted to discussion and critique.
