About
Work Show Grow
school
The Work Show Grow school is a supportive, motivating and go-getting community. We love teaching artists how to get paid for their work.
The school programme is delivered monthly on a quarterly rolling basis. You can join at any time and at any point in your creative journey. We encourage all levels and our curriculum is carefully structured to support the self-taught, recently graduated, lost and smashing it.
There are six main areas to get involved in
The Resources Library holds all our past sessions. At Work Show Grow we are mindful of timezones, commitments and responsibilities so at any time you can catch up on a session you missed, go back and listen again, or discover something new from the resources library archive. We talk about how things really work and add fun to your creative journey.
Past mentorship sessions include:
Social media for artists
Productivity for the win
Applying for funding
Project development
Selling your work
Our Special Projects are opportunities to put new knowledge into action and get your work out there. We have an international and entrepreneurial outlook and our group projects are great fun! We just printed 1000 publications and sent them around the world. When Covid restriction allows we can’t wait to put on group exhibitions, screenings and parties.
Our global community also hosts self-initiated sessions - which we are happy to support. These include monthly artist book club, tech chat meet-ups, and weekly drawing sessions.
