Want to get paid to do what you love?

Tell me if this sounds like you …

  • You feel overwhelmed by the thought of navigating the complex landscape of arts funding.

  • You're constantly questioning whether your work is "good enough" or "the right fit” for funding

  • You struggle with confidence to present your ideas and work to potential funders

  • You’re tired of missing opportunities because you're unsure where to start or what to say in your applications.

  • You're frustrated watching other creatives secure funding and advance their careers, while you feel stuck in your current situation.

  • You're unsure about the latest focuses and requirements that funders are looking for in successful applications.

  • You feel isolated in your funding journey and wish for a supportive community that understands and could navigate these challenges together.

You can get funding

You can get funding •

Let me be honest with you …

When you’re saying …

What you’re actually saying is …

  • I can't apply for big grants, they're not meant for creatives like me.

  • I don’t believe my work has significant value or impact, which may prevent me from pursuing opportunities that would bring me more success.

  • I should be grateful for any opportunity, regardless of the funding.

  • I might undervalue my work and accept less than I deserve, limiting my professional growth and financial stability.

  • I don't need a lot of money to be a successful creative.

  • I may be avoiding the financial aspect of my career, which can prevent me from fully investing in and expanding my practice.

  • Only well-connected and community-led artists get funding.

  • You’re limiting how others value your work before they’ve even had the chance to decide for themselves - because deep down, you don’t believe it’s worthy of funding.

  • Applying for funding is too complicated and time-consuming.

  • I might be resisting learning new skills that are essential for securing funding and elevating my projects.

But what if you didn’t have to make it this hard?

This is the reason I created Fund It! - for creatives just like you.

Welcome to Fund It! - get clear, get confident, get funded, designed to support artists like you to secure funding confidently. There is a proven formula to demonstrate that both you and your work are viable investments, and this formula can be taught and learnt.

Many countries offer differing financial assistance to creatives as part of their commitment to preserving cultural heritage. This workshop leverages that diversity and adapts to the global landscape of arts funding.

Our sessions will guide you through distinct modules going through every aspect of the funding application process, from initiating the right mindset to effectively managing your funds post-approval. The course also introduces cutting-edge AI tools for refining proposals and strategic techniques for leveraging your funding successes.

As part of this course, you'll join a vibrant community of peers, gaining not only essential skills but great networking opportunities.

Join us to learn how to add an additional income stream, support network and authority that comes with learning the power of effective funding strategies.

Why do I know you need this? Let’s hear from
Letizia Lopreiato

“Learning how to secure funding has been a real journey towards embracing confidence and growth. I will never thank Natasha Caruana enough for her knowledge and courage - telling me to “trust your art”, and so I did.

I’ve used this focus and the workshop tools to apply for public funding. So far I’ve secured;

Arts Council Ireland, £1,300 in 2020, £8,500 in 2021, £5,000 in 2022. And soon to be publicly announced my biggest creative achievement to date!!

I’ve now successfully made external funding a vital additional income stream into my practice.

None of this would have been possible without the encouragement of all the incredible Work Show Grow artists I have met. And I get a bit emotional thinking about my confidence journey. And it’s all down to WSG!”

Letizia Lopreiato

This is for you if:

  • You’re motivated and focused to make your practice into a sustainable career.

  • You're ready to gain recognition and validation from prestigious funding bodies.

  • You want to master the art of writing compelling funding applications that stand out.

  • You seek to establish a professional network that supports and brings momentum to your creative ideas.

  • You want the confidence to approach more opportunities and collaborations through secured funding.

  • You want to finally get support to complete that project idea you’ve had whirling in your head for years.

But first, in case you don’t know me already - I’m Natasha …

I started from a challenging background, with free school dinners and discouragement from studying art, to now just back from a two-month global creative reset to gather inspiration for my next big creative project with my family. My journey has been anything but ordinary.

This Christmas, dealing with my late mother's debts revealed the full extent of the financial struggles she had shielded from us, her five children. As a single mother, she faced immense challenges in managing the household's finances. Growing up with the fear of bailiffs and the shame of financial insecurity deeply affected my view of money, instilling a scarcity mindset that took years to overcome. Being the first in my family to attend university was a pivotal moment for me. It was there that I began to see money as a tool rather than a source of fear.

Today, I'm an award-winning artist and Senior Lecturer of Photography at the University of the Arts London, and I earned my MA from the Royal College of Art. My work, spanning photography, moving image, and installation, has been showcased globally at renowned venues such as Paris Photo and the International Center of Photography in New York. Throughout my career, I have secured multiple awards from places like Arts Council England and have been supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

My goal is not just to create work but to help other creatives navigate the often intimidating landscape of arts funding. With the right knowledge and tools, I believe securing funding is not just a dream but an achievable goal - transforming not only your practice but also your life.
